What is a "painterly print"?
These are ready-to-hang stretched "giclée" canvas prints I order from Costco and embellish with acrylic paint and varnish. After picking up the print, I paint my own brush strokes on it to make it more of an original, adding a small signature in the bottom right hand corner. The high quality, UV light protected canvases look nice hung unframed. Their cost includes the print itself, the order and pick up of the print, the painting on top of it, and its personal value to me.

"Private Garden"
With "Private Garden," I am primarily painting on the 1 inch margin on the sides of the painting. This makes it appear to be a "wrapped" canvas print but in fact extends the original painting. This print should ideally be hung unframed in order to display all of the painted sides.
